Third round of the Ferrari Challenge Europe: in Germany, Ineco Reparto Corse RAM wins the standings

27 May 2025

The third round of the Ferrari Challenge Europe brought us to Germany, at the historic Hockenheimring. After the races in Monza and Misano, the competition is now in full swing, and our Team Ineco Reparto Corse RAM continues to collect podium finishes: Felix Hirsiger repeats the double victory from the previous round, while Manuela Gostner celebrates her first win of the season.

A weekend of changing weather conditions, but full of excitement and leaderboard shake-ups that give great hope for the championship.

Race 1

Thirty minutes of intense racing, featuring several contacts and three Safety Car periods, ended with Felix Hirsiger claiming victory in the Pirelli Trophy — his third in a row — closing the gap even further to the overall championship leader. Hirsiger, starting from pole after securing the fastest qualifying time of 1’37”654, led from start to finish and also clocked the fastest lap.

After his Misano double, Felix Hirsiger commented: “Even if it didn’t look like it from the outside, it was a very challenging race, especially managing the restarts after the Safety Cars. I’m very happy to be here—it’s a big dream, and I want to thank everyone for it.”

In the Coppa Shell, Manuela Gostner dominated the race, taking the lead early on and never letting go, despite a comeback attempt from Oscar Ryndziewicz (Kessel Racing), securing her first win of the season. Zois Skrimpias finished mid-pack, after an exciting and adrenaline-fueled race.

From the podium, Manuela Gostner shared: “I had a tough start to the season, but today both qualifying and the race went really well, and I’m truly happy. Thank you all!”

Race 2

Despite the overcast skies, Felix Hirsiger lit up the day for the entire Ineco Reparto Corse RAM team: “A weekend with two wins, two pole positions, and fastest laps. A heartfelt thank you to everyone—team, supporters, family, and friends.”

The second day of racing ended with Hirsiger taking first place again, claiming his second win of the German weekend and fourth in a row for the season — numbers that are truly impressive!

The Swiss driver, starting again from pole and setting the fastest lap at 1’39”111, managed to hold off a comeback attempt from fellow countryman Jasin Ferati (Emil Frey Racing), overtaking him in the overall standings, which he now leads by 4 points.

In the Coppa Shell, Zois Skrimpias settled for fourth place but claimed the lead in the overall standings, now holding a one-point advantage over Italy’s Fabrizio Fontana (Formula Racing), who was absent from Hockenheim. Manuela Gostner had a less fortunate Race 2 and finished in fifth place.

One of the highlights of the day was Shintaro Akatsu, who delivered a strong comeback compared to Race 1, finishing sixth in the Coppa Shell AM.

The three podium finishes in Germany energize the entire Ineco Reparto Corse RAM team, who now look forward with even more enthusiasm to the next round, taking place from June 5 to 8 at the Brno Circuit in the Czech Republic.
